E-tec Associated Tradesperson Licence Course

Are you a registered plumber or gasfitter wanting to carry out prescribed electrical work, such as water heater installation or waste disposal servicing? If yes, you are required by law to hold a licence!

E-tec, training provider of industry short courses and approved by the EWRB is delivering the Associated Tradesperson Licence Course.

As a gasfitter and/or plumber, you may have to deal with work outside of your usual day-to-day responsibilities, like fitting water heaters or other appliances to mains power.

The Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) regulates this part of a tradesperson’s work and require you to hold an Associated Tradesperson Licence. The licence will allow you to connect or disconnect fittings to, or from, a power supply when working under 250 volts and 16 amperes.

You will be able to test your own electrical work and certify and supervise particular electrical work (excluding any work done in mining operations).

It’s simple and affordable to get licensed, check the EWRB course requirements on our website: Associated Tradesperon Course.
